Will We Ever Learn?

Otherworldly life. Is there such a thing? Yes, I believe so. Out of this entire universe, I doubt that there's only one planet with life on it. There has to be another planet that has such things as "aliens" on it.

One of the things that irritates me about people searching for alien life, is that they search on the planets that will substain human life. Ok, lets face it, if we find some kind of other life form out there, they will not have all of the functions of human beings. No. They will have different bodies, functions, and systems, than humans. I mean, come on. We're not really looking for another HUMAN out there.

I know, maybe we will one day out grow our planet, and have to either 1. Kill a bunch of people, 2. have population laws, or 3. need somewhere else to go. But I think that most people wouldn't really want to have to start over somewhere else and acatually WORK. But that is an entire different topic people.

Or, maybe there really is otherworldly life out there and Area 41 is NOT a myth. There were acatual statements written by police about that metal material and I don't think that the police officer was drunk too.

Maybe the government really found out about life on other planets, but they won't tell us because of that incident that happened on October 30, 1938. A proud moment in human history where a radio broadcast was thought to be true. War of the Worlds, it was called, they were doing a show over aliens attacking earth. Whooohoo... I bet all of those people felt just so intelligent when they heard that it WAS JUST A RADIO SHOW. They had packed their cars full of their stuff and fled cities, ran out of their homes in a panic, and even started jumping off of roofs, thinking the end of the world was coming. Uhhhh.... mass panic anyone?

Now, with that example that people set on that fateful day, do you think that the government would tell us that aliens are real? For those of you nodding your heads, think about this. There are a bunch of old timey looking guys, talking about releasing that information to the public, and everyone is thinking: Well, what would it hurt? Then one guy pipes up and says...Remember War of the Worlds? That makes everyone shut up and think.

We really screwed ourselves up that day...didn't we?

Photo

I am in love with this picture. It was taken at a park in...well I don't remember, but it is one of my first good pictures.

I've always like to photograph things. It has spurred from my inability to remember places that I go and people that I see. Even the people that I see every day fade away from my memory. I can not imagine what my parents look like if I closed my eyes, and I see them every day. No one, not my boyfriend, not my friends, not anyone. So, I started taking pictures of them, and now when I close my eyes, I can imagine them, but it's only from the picture that I took.

Very sad.

Thank You All

I want to thank all of you that helped me out with my pov question. You were right. I should not have cared what others said, but I was still hesitant, because I have read a lot of POV switches that just didn't make sense to me AT ALL. You couldn't tell that you switched the POV at all. It just seemed that the writer skipped a lot of time, and you didn't know what happened. Then, you didn't even realize that it was a POV switch until a chapter later, and you had to reread the chapter, because you were seeing it through the first persons POV. But thank you. I can now continue writing.
